![]() ![]() Tohru was the high-maintenance one, whereas Kobayashi was less spontaneous. ![]() I heard some people were comparing Kobayashi to a father, and Tohru to a mother- Today’s Menu for the Emiya Family has caused a weird fixation with kotatsus for me…Īnd I guess it might be pretty telling about my family situation that I thought Kobayashi was way more like a mother, and Tohru resembled my impressions of a father. Having Kobayashi and Tohru have a kind of shared interest in Kana’s future was a nice way to have them grow closer. ![]() Kobayashi as a parent to Kana just works! Nothing’s more moe than a totally powerless powerful little girl! *shivers*īut no, I got something way more moe than that! I was ready for this dragon to keep up this dumb routine of ineffectual attacks against Kobayashi- despite being a powerful dragon. Sometime between when loli dragon was saying Kobayashi was seducing Tohru with her body, and the end of the episode. I stopped at some point during the second episode during my first watch. What I got: Touching family comedy that occasionally features lesbian dragons and pedo undercurrents.īasically, I assumed the numerous flaws would outweigh the pros of this series-Īnd while they certainly were glaring, there was a whole lot more to love about the series! Here’s a few of the reasons. What I expected : Lesbian dragon comedy with pedo undercurrents Who would’ve thought it would be the lesbian dragon anime that would finally end this streak! While I can really see why people like Violet Evergarden and Haruhi– none of these shows have really hit me. ![]() I was really feeling fed up with Kyoto Animation. I guess after watching Violet Evergarden, then a bit of Hyouka, then half of Haruhi– But this is really the most excited I’ve been for an anime in months, except for the rewatches. ![]()
